Resort Guidelines for a Safe and Enjoyable Stay

Thank you for choosing Hidden Ponds RV Resort! To ensure a delightful stay for everyone, we kindly remind our guests to adhere to our resort’s guidelines. These rules help maintain a clean, safe, and enjoyable environment for all.

Safety and Vehicle Regulations

• Speed limit of 10 mph throughout the resort.
• Only licensed drivers may operate motor vehicles, including electric golf carts.
• Testing and repair of vehicles are not permitted in the resort.
• Skateboards, bicycles, and rollerblades are allowed during daylight hours only.
• Gas golf carts, ATVs, and moped vehicles are not permitted on the property.

RV Site Maintenance

• Sewer hoses must have a watertight rubber collar; ensure all hookups are in good working order.
• Maintain a clean and attractive RV site; dispose of trash in designated dumpsters.
• No tents, screen rooms, pop-ups, or canopies unless approved by management.
• RVs must be 12 years or newer or in like-new condition (unless approved by management).
• A $50 clean-up fee for sites left unkept.

Fire and Smoking Policies

• Per Michigan Law, firewood may not be brought into the resort.
• Campfires only in designated fire pits; firewood is available at the office.Cutting of trees is prohibited.
• Firewood is to be stacked on the concrete site pad, not on landscape areas.
• All resort buildings are smoke-free, including electronic smoking and vaping devices.
• Dispose of cigarettes properly; no littering of cigarette butts.

Conduct and Courtesy

• Common courtesy, patience, humor, and kindness are appreciated.
• Profane, abusive, or threatening behavior is prohibited.
• Parents are responsible for children’s actions and safety.
• Registered guests are responsible for their occupants and invitees.

Parking and Site Use

• Only one RV per site.
• No parking on unoccupied sites or on grass; use designated spaces only.
• Clotheslines are not permitted; drying racks on RVs are allowed temporarily.

Prohibited Items

• Fireworks and firearms (except for law enforcement or MI CPL holders)

Visitor Policy

• All visitors must register with the office before entering.
• Day visitors must leave by 10 PM.
• No selling, renting out, advertising, or offering services in the resort.

Pet Policy

• Pets should not be left unattended anywhere in the resort.
• Pets must be leashed when outside the RV unit.
• Pets with excessive barking or aggressive behavior are not allowed. Owners must address such issues promptly or may be asked to leave without a refund.
• Up to two pets are allowed per site, subject to management approval. Certain aggressive dog breeds may not be permitted.
• Pet waste must be picked up immediately and disposed of properly.
• Pets are not allowed in the pool, buildings, or playgrounds. A dog park is available near the main entrance.
• Do not allow pets to dig at your site or in the pet play areas.

Pool Rules

• The pool is open from 9 AM to sundown during the season (June – August). Hours may vary based on the season.
• There is no lifeguard on duty, and swimming is at your own risk. Diving and running around the pool are prohibited.
• Proper swimming attire is required. Cut-off shorts are not allowed.
• Children not potty trained must wear swim diapers. Children under 14 must be accompanied by an adult.
• Guests must shower before entering the pool.
• Glass objects are not allowed in the pool area.
• Management can evict anyone for behavior detrimental to the resort or for rule violations. The “3 Strike Rule” may apply, and the rules are subject to change.

Cancellation Policy

• Cancellations are accepted up to 14 days before arrival.
• A $95.00 fee applies for cancellations.
• No refunds for cancellations made less than 14 days before arrival. Weather-related cancellations are non-refundable unless a mandatory evacuation is required.
